I am a digital communicator with experience as content manager, web developer, social media specialist, and event coordinator within higher education and nonprofit organizations.
An inquisitive learner with passion for understanding complex systems, I enjoy deconstructing & analyzing platforms and technologies. I strive for empathy and understanding in all interactions, and consider myself a ‘pragmatic idealist’ – aiming to balance idealism with practicality when pursuing goals. I am deeply committed to climate, green energy, and environmental sustainability, and have a passion for exploring different cultures via travel, music, food, and fútbol. Actively contributing to the community through diverse volunteer roles, I participate on the Chicago Beer Society Board of Directors, LLCA Board, and with the Chicago Cares Serve-a-Thon.
I am an ardent supporter of nonprofit orgs including the Southern Poverty Law Center, Legal Defense Fund, ACLU, NRDC, Earth Justice, My Block, My Hood, My City, Run for Something, and The Greater Chicago Food Depository.
